Hello Highpointers!
I am excited about Christmas coming up and I love that this is a season of joy and spending time with family. Don't forget to spend some time with your youth family and invite your friends!
HPY Christmas Parties coming up:
-High School is having a bonfire on Wednesday Dec 12. Please meet at the Peterson residence (1905 Walsh Dr, Round Rock) and dress warm. This is from 7-8:30pm. Please bring a white elephant gift, valued at $5 or less.
-Middle School is having a progressive dinner on Sunday Dec 16 from 4:30 - 6pm. It will start and end at the church- we will provide transportation between progressive dinner sites! Please bring a white elephant gift, valued at $5 or less.
December 22: HPY MS/HS Christmas Movie Night! Come to HPF dressed in pjs prepared for a Christmas movie, some delicious food, and Christmas games. It is going to be a blast!
December 24: HPF Christmas Eve Services are at 5:00 & 6:30. We will be finishing our Always Jesus series with a special Christmas Eve Service with a short message, worship, Christmas carols, hot chocolate and cookies! Bring the whole fam!
Keep an eye on the calendar for our schedule! We will not be having youth group for middle school students on Dec 23 & 30th or high school on Dec 19, 26, or Jan 2nd. Grow Groups are combined in the youth room on December 23 and no Grow Groups on December 30 for Family Worship Sunday. We will resume with normal youth group on Jan 6th for middle school and Jan 9th for high school.
The 2019 Mid-Winter Retreat: Imagine (MS & HS) is Jan 25-27. Our very own Tyler Murphy will be leading worship. The cost is $75, which includes the tshirt and all meals. We will leave from the upper campus of the church at 5:00pm Friday night and will come back Sunday morning for church. There are two forms needed for this trip. I have attached the registration form for Tanglewood Camp. Please print it, fill it out, and return it to me along with your registration money. You can also pay online at: short formal dresses 2019 https://squareup.com/store/hpf . Also, we will need the Highpoint Fellowship form filled out at www.hpf.org/permission . Earlybird pricing ends January 7! This is an awesome Christmas gift!
SAVE THE DATE: The 2019 HPY Valentine's Banquet is Saturday, February 9... you do NOT want to miss it.
High school and 8th grade students and parents: We are excited to announce that next summer, we will be going on an international mission trip to Puerto Rico. Please go ahead and start praying for God's hand in this trip! It will be from June 8-14th. The cost (before fundraising) is $750 for students and $875 for college students or parent who would like to join us. The deposit to secure a spot is $100. This can be paid in person or online at: https://squareup.com/store/hpf . Spots are limited, so get me your deposit as soon as possible! The cutoff date for the deposit is Jan 20th.
